Anna Fredrikke Bjerke is a Norwegian screenwriter and director based in London. She is currently in pre-production on her debut feature film, Let It Come Down, produced by Backscatter Productions. It is scheduled to shoot in autumn 2025.

Her short films have been selected for BAFTA- and Academy Award-qualifying festivals worldwide. This work has garnered a Vimeo Staff Pick, a Vimeo Best of the Year Award, and praise from Short of the Week, Directors Notes, NoBudge, and others.

She has been selected for talent development programmes including Directors UK Inspire, where she shadowed on Disney+’s Rivals, and the TorinoFilmLab. Anna also took part in the Little Chick Writers’ Retreat, led by Abi Morgan at The Hurst. Her feature writing has been shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition.

Anna is a member of BAFTA Connect and Directors UK. She holds a BA from Central Saint Martins and an MA from New York University.
